Burglary suspect flees after homeowner interrupts break-in in Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Police are searching for a burglary suspect who fled on foot after being interrupted by a homeowner on Ferncliff Road. The suspect, described as tall and wearing dark clothing, was last seen in the surrounding area.

The incident happened at around 7 am on Thursday.

Officers from Parsippany and neighboring towns are conducting a search. No weapons were seen, and the suspect did not make any threats before escaping.

Authorities have not released additional details about the suspect or the burglary.

Police are urging residents to remain alert as the search continues.
