Burlington Police Recover Stolen Vehicle

Car-Broken Window 2

BURLINGTON CITY, NJ – The City of Burlington Police Department responded to a vehicle theft report in the Mehlville Neighborhood on Thursday evening.

The stolen vehicle, a Hyundai, was recovered on Friday morning after a neighbor reported a suspicious vehicle with a broken window on Saint Mary Street.

The Burlington City Police Department offers free anti-theft devices, “The Clubs”, to residents owning Kias or Hyundais, which are currently targeted due to social media challenges.

Residents are advised to keep their doors locked and valuables removed from their vehicles.

The department also responded to another vehicle with a broken window and is increasing patrols in affected areas. Suspicious behavior, especially between 9 pm and 3 am, should be reported immediately.
