Butler Dominates Wallington in Friday Night Showdown

BUTLER, NJ – In a Friday night football game, Butler improved to 2-0 in the NJIC conference, beating Wallington 42-0, who now drops to 0-2.

Game leaders for Butler included Bobby Battipede with 69 total passing yards and PJ Coffey leading in rushing yardage with 77. On the Wallington side, Filip Lyczko had only 3 total passing yards and Dariel Gil Polanco led in rushing with 34 yards.

Defensively, Jason Murray from Butler secured a sack while Max Reilly made an interception. Jay Sepulveda led Butler in total tackles with three.

The game was a dominant performance from Butler on both sides of the ball, with the team accumulating 231 rushing yards to Wallington’s 73. While Butler’s passing game showed strength, completing 4 out of 4 attempts for 99 yards, Wallington struggled, completing only 4 out of 12 attempts for a mere 3 yards.
