Calvert County Boy Bakes Homemade Pies for Deputies

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office extends heartfelt gratitude to Andrew, a 13-year-old from Owings, for his thoughtful gesture of homemade pies.

Andrew, with a passion for baking, utilized his skills to craft delicious pies sold to loved ones during the holiday season. Inspired by the daily sacrifices made by deputies in safeguarding the community, Andrew initiated ‘Pies for Police,’ utilizing proceeds from his previous sales to bake 20 pies for deputies.

The Sheriff’s Office commends Andrew for his dedication and generosity, noting that the pies brought joy to all who enjoyed them. Andrew’s support and confectionery creations sweetened the days of those at the Sheriff’s Office, showcasing his commendable spirit.
