Calvert County Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

LUSBY, MD – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office was called to action over 1,800 times during the week of October 30 to November 5, 2023, dealing with various incidents including burglaries, property damage, thefts, and an assault leading to an arrest.

A burglary reported on November 2 saw an intruder force entry into a home on Saugaro Court, making away with items totaling approximately $1,335, and causing $150 in damage.

On October 30, a damaged vehicle windshield was reported on Lake Drive, with damages estimated at $500.

The same day, a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 was reported stolen from E. Chesapeake Beach Road after the owner left it unlocked with keys inside. The vehicle is valued at $40,000.

Another theft on C Street involved a Google Pixel 8 phone, valued at $759, which was stolen from its packaging before delivery to the complainant.

Two men and a woman are sought for stealing nearly $2,800 worth of goods from a CVS on Ward Road.

An arrest was made on November 5 after Chicago Alexander Garner, with active warrants, resisted arrest following a disorderly conduct report on San Mateo Trail. Garner faces multiple charges including resisting arrest and burglary.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate these incidents and seeks information from the public to aid their efforts.
