Cambridge Man Arrested on Multiple Charges Including Assault

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On last Monday, at approximately 5:33 pm, Officers from the Cambridge Police Department located and arrested Shane Michael Sutton, a 46-year-old resident of Cambridge.

Sutton had an active arrest warrant from Wicomico County District Court and was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond after initial processing.

Sutton faces multiple charges including second-degree assault, false imprisonment, and vehicle tampering.

These charges originated from an incident where Sutton was allegedly involved in manipulating a vehicle device with malicious intent and damaging a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.

The Cambridge Police Department is actively investigating the case. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact the department.
