Cambridge Man Charged with Stalking Picked up on Warrant

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On last Monday, at around 1:20 am, officers from the Cambridge Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person near Rainbow Ave and Bayly Rd.

The individual was identified as Deandra Jamar Demby, a 32-year-old resident of Cambridge. Demby was arrested and later transferred to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections.

Demby had multiple outstanding warrants, including charges of stalking, malicious destruction of property, and assault.

One warrant was issued by the Wicomico County District Court, and another by the Dorchester County District Court. The charges relate to incidents that occurred in March and June of this year.

The Cambridge Police Department is responsible for the arrest and asked anyone with further information to contact them.
