Cambridge Police Continue Search in Unsolved Murder Case

Cambridge, MD – The Cambridge Police Department has issued a request for community assistance in the investigation of the 2020 homicide of Ernest Jones JR. On August 30, 2020, at around 4:52 pm, officers responded to a medical call on Pine St, where they found Jones with injuries consistent with a stab wound. Despite efforts by EMS, Jones had already passed away.

The Cambridge Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division has been actively working on this case since 2020, seeking any information from the public that could help solve the crime.
