Cameras capture suspect fleeing Northwest D.C. robbery scene

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect involved in a violent robbery in Northwest D.C. is being sought by police after surveillance cameras captured images of the individual. The incident took place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at approximately 9:20 p.m. in the 500 block of 13th Street, Northwest.

The suspect assaulted the victim, stole their belongings, and fled the scene. The victim was later treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked not to approach them but to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or submit tips via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
