Captured Fugitive Buffalo Man Facing Multiple Charges for Donovan Drive Shooting

BUFFALO, NY – Andrew Gordon, III, 21, alias Michael L. Vaughn, of Buffalo, faced arraignment before Buffalo City Court Judge Shannon M. Heneghan.

He is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (Class “C” felony).

On Wednesday, Buffalo Police responded to Donovan Drive for a reported shooting. Gordon, wanted on a prior BOLO, was seen fleeing a home with others.

Police found a loaded, illegal handgun and cocaine inside the residence. Two co-defendants, Cameron McCutcheon and Trent McBride, face similar charges. All three are held without bail for a felony hearing on January 30.

Gordon also faces charges from two separate incidents involving the same victim. On November 8, 2023, he allegedly assaulted a woman in her Buffalo apartment, and on December 11, 2023, he is accused of burglary and assault in the same residence.
