Carjacking Incident on Burke Avenue in the Bronx

BRONX, NY—On Saturday, police were notified of a carjacking incident involving a 67-year-old victim in front of 800 Burke Avenue. At about 4:00 AM, an unidentified assailant forcibly opened the driver’s side door, demanding both cash and car keys.

Following the confrontation, the suspect physically removed the victim from the vehicle and escaped by driving east on Burke Avenue. The victim, while sustaining minor injuries, declined medical care.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build, standing around 6 feet tall. His attire included a pink flannel-style shirt, a white tank top, blue jean shorts, a red and black baseball cap, and green croc-style shoes. Authorities are actively seeking any information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the suspect.
