Carjacking reported in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred early Monday morning in Glen Burnie. Officers responded to the 7000 block of Elvaton Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. for a report of the incident.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, told police he was sitting in his 2021 gray Ford when four armed suspects approached him. According to police, the suspects searched the victim, taking his car keys before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.

Detectives from the Regional Crimes Unit are handling the investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Anne Arundel County Police at 410-222-4730.
