Cash, Drugs, Gun Seized in Utica Drug Raid

Utica, NY – After a lengthy investigation, the Utica Police Special Investigations Unit, along with UPD Patrol Division and Oneida County Sheriff Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant on Antonio Ware, 39, at 301 Elizabeth St. The search led to the discovery of over 130g of cocaine, a loaded handgun, and over $14,000 in cash.

Following the search, Ware was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (x2) for weight and intent to sell, as well as Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree. Additional charges are under consideration by the District Attorney’s Office.

The investigation brought a significant amount of narcotics and illegal weapons into custody, highlighting the collaborative efforts of law enforcement units in addressing drug-related crimes effectively.
