Mother of Teen Shot by Cops Shot at Her Son’s Funeral by Child with Gun

SHARPES, FL – The mother of one of two teens shot and killed by Brevard County deputies two weeks ago was shot at her son’s funeral at Riverview Memorial Cemetery in Sharpes, Florida.   Quasheda Pierce, 39, was hit by an accidental misfire from a gun at her son’s funeral.  The gun was in the possession of a 16-year-old boy.  The boy sustained a gunshot wound through his leg. Domestic altercation leads to man shot dead in Harrisburg

Woman dead after Kayak flips in Narragansett

PROVIDENCE, RI  – The Department of Environmental Management (DEM) Division of Law Enforcement is investigating a fatal kayaking incident that occurred this morning in Narragansett. Two Shot, One Dead in Thanksgiving Day D.C. Murder

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday, November 27, 2020, in the 2900 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. At approximately 9:29 am, members of the Second District responded to the listed location for the report of an unconscious person. Man stuck in mud rescued from Springfield’s Watershops Pond

SPRINGFIELD, MA – Today, the Sprinfield Fire Department rescued a person stuck in the mud at the now drained Watershops pond.  One individual was rescued, the fire department said and there were no injuries.   The pond was drained earlier this month as part of a flood control project to protect the local neighborhood from flooding and to perform maintenance on the Watershops Dam downstream.  $2.5 million in federal funding was awarded for the project.

Two arrested for drug and weapon charges in Milton

Milton, DE- Delaware State Police arrested 24-year-old Melissa Bliss of Millsboro and 26-year-old Jeremy Jones of Millsboro on drugs and weapon charges following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon. On November 28, 2020, at approximately 12:35 p.m., a trooper on patrol in the area of Milton observed a blue Chevrolet Malibu traveling westbound on Pettyjohn Road and detected the vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. The trooper initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the operator identified as Jeremy Jones and front seat passenger identified as Melissa Bliss. Upon contact the trooper smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from inside of the vehicle.

Pedestrian struck and killed on Hollabird Avenue in Baltimore, suspect fled

BALTIMORE, MD – On November 28, 2020 at approximately 6:29 a.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 6500 block of Hollabird Avenue where a pedestrian had been struck. Upon arrival, officers observed Baltimore City Medics rendering aid to an unidentified male. Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Witnesses told officers that they saw a black SUV, possibly a Tahoe, traveling east bound on Hollabird Avenue when it struck the victim and fled the location. Man shot by random gunfire in Baltimore on Black Friday

BALTIMORE, MD – On November 28, 2020 at approximately 10:08 a.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Boarman Avenue for a call for discharging a firearm. While officers were canvassing the area, they received a call for a shooting victim who had just walked to an area fire station seeking medical attention. Charlotte County, FL- Two recent cases have proven to be a crime of opportunity. Two men were recently arrested stemming from two separate incidents within Charlotte County, where they both took advantage of unlocked vehicles. Bruce Layendecker 05/18/1984 On November 9th, two unlocked vehicles parked at Beef O’ Brady’s on McCall Road in Englewood were entered by Bruce Layendecker. Within one of those unlocked vehicles was a firearm which Layendecker removed from within.
