Two sentenced for murder of Jersey City man

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Two men have been charged with the 2018 murder of 19-year-old William McCord in Jersey City. On Thursday, February 4, 2021, the Honorable Patrick J. Arre, J.S.C. sentenced Omar Williams, 23, of Jersey City, to 10 years in New Jersey state prison for his role in the death of Kamal McCord, 19, of Jersey City, which occurred on May 2, 2018 in Jersey City. Rite-Aid Expanding Free COVID-19 Testing Sites in New Jersey, New York, Pennsyvlania

Man arrested with loaded, stolen handgun at Jersey Shore hospital

Little Egg Harbor Man Sentenced to Three Years in Prison for Luring Children

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Joshua A. Rauter, 33, of Little Egg Harbor is now in Ocean County Jail after being sentenced to three years in prison for luring young children. Shark River Floods Coastal Roads in Neptune Flooded During Winter Storm

New Jersey School Teacher Commits Suicide Inside High School

POMPTON LAKES, NJ – The New York Post reported that Pompton Lakes High School teacher Patrick Moccia, 47, of Doylestown, PA committed suicide on school property.  Moccia worked as a technology education teacher in the school. He was found dead inside the school around 9 pm Saturday after police showed up at the school to perform a welfare check when he did not return home. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office believes the cause of death to be a self-inflicted suicide.

New Jersey State Police Reports 661 Crashes, 1050 Calls for Help on Roads During Winter Storm

Firefighters responding to stove fire find woman stabbed to death in Camden

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a Camden woman who was located after firefighters responded to her home Saturday evening, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S.
