**HARRISBURG, PA** – Attorney General Michelle Henry has confirmed a settlement with Inspire Clean Energy. The California-based company will provide $150,000 in restitution as part of a $250,000 agreement for allegedly misleading consumers into service agreements.
The Office of Attorney General’s investigation suggests Inspire representatives misled consumers by suggesting they were participating in surveys or mailing lists, enrolling them in energy services instead. Some consumers encountered increased energy costs after being promised savings.
Under the settlement, Inspire is required to ensure clear disclosures during customer interactions and obtain explicit consent before enrolling customers in their services. Attorney General Henry emphasized the importance of protecting Pennsylvanians from deceptive practices involving essential services.
The investigation revealed instances where Inspire representatives falsely claimed affiliations with the government or other utility companies. The settlement requires additional measures for compliance and oversight of Inspire representatives.
Dutchess County Drug Dealer Arrested with Fentanyl and Handgun
**Poughkeepsie, NY** – A drug dealer in Poughkeepsie’s “South Side” has been apprehended by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. The operation targeted Haitham A. Dasan, 48, following reports of narcotics sales, including fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, with agents also discovering he was armed.
On Thursday, around 12:00 PM, task force agents located and arrested Mr. Dasan near Hooker Ave. They discovered large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a loaded .32 caliber handgun in his possession.
Mr. Dasan now faces multiple charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail.

Queens Man Sentenced for 2021 Fatal Shooting
**Queens, NY** – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced the sentencing of Waturi Johnson to 24 years to life in prison for the 2021 shooting death of Uriah Richardson. Incident at Stafford Market Place Leads to Arrest
**Stafford, VA** – A 27-year-old man from Woodbridge was arrested following an incident involving a bathroom barricade. The arrest occurred after deputies responded to Stafford Market Place on Monday morning.
At 9:48 a.m., deputies arrived at the scene following reports of a disturbance involving a weapon. Witnesses informed authorities of a man clad in all black throwing a rock in front of T.J. **Dover, DE** – Delaware State Police and Dover Police Department have apprehended 18-year-old Sahir Samuels on multiple firearm-related charges after a stolen gun investigation.
In September, authorities began investigating a firearm theft in the 100 block of West Loockerman Street, identifying Samuels as the suspect. Samuels, a probationer prohibited from firearm possession, was arrested without incident Thursday by the Kent County Governor’s Task Force. During a probation search of his home, officers found a stolen Taurus 9mm handgun, a 3D printed Glock-style frame, trigger, mechanism, along with 9mm magazines and ammunition.
Following his arrest, Samuels was taken to Troop 3, charged, and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7. He is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $44,000 cash bond.
The charges against Samuels include felony counts of theft of a firearm, possession of an unfinished firearm frame or receiver without a serial number, possession of a firearm during a felony, and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a prohibited person. Additionally, he is charged with attempted possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number.
Police Respond to Domestic Dispute on Simpson Street
**Wilkes-Barre, PA** – On Saturday, police officers responded to a reported domestic dispute on Simpson Street.
The incident was reported at 9:29 PM involving 29-year-old Julio Arias Cabrera and a 27-year-old female resident of Wilkes-Barre. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with the victim.
The victim indicated a verbal dispute with Cabrera regarding marital issues escalated into physical violence. She reported being struck in the face and right arm by Cabrera, leaving visible injuries.
Police took Julio Arias Cabrera into custody. He was then transported to City Headquarters for processing and arraignment.
New Castle Burglary Suspect Arrested on the Rooftop
**New Castle, DE** – Delaware State Police apprehended 33-year-old Michael Martino from New Castle following a burglary incident at a commercial building early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday at around 6:10 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the AT&T building at 65 Southgate Boulevard due to a repeated alarm. Upon their arrival, police discovered an AT&T employee who reported an unidentified person on the roof. They located Martino on a catwalk between the building’s rear and a cell tower. He followed instructions to descend the catwalk and was arrested without incident.
The investigation revealed Martino had caused significant damage to the roof, which served as his entry point into the building.
Martino was subsequently taken to Troop 2, where he faced charges including Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree (Felony), Criminal Mischief $5,000 or More (Felony), and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree. After being arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, he was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
Fatal Temple Hills Collision Under Investigation
