Caught on camera: Northwest DC robbery suspect sought by police

WASHINGTON, DC — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who snatched a victim’s belongings and fled on a red Rideshare bike in Northwest DC.

The robbery occurred on February 7 at approximately 1:33 p.m. in the 2600 block of 14th Street, Northwest. Third District officers responded to the scene after the suspect entered a business, stole the victim’s property, and escaped.

Surveillance cameras captured the incident, and police have released video footage of the suspect. The footage can be viewed at this link.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with information is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411.
