Cell Phone Snatcher on the Loose After Bold D.C. Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The community is being asked to assist in locating a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred in Northwest D.C.

On October 16 at approximately 2:20 p.m., the suspect approached the victim in the 1400 block of Park Road and snatched a cell phone before fleeing the scene.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect, and a photo has been released for identification purposes.

Anyone who can identify this suspect or has information about the incident is urged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or send a text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for crimes in the District of Columbia.
