Chambersburg Man Wanted for Strangulation and False Imprisonment

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Chambersburg Police Department recently arrested William Hettenschuller, 2023, on charges of strangulation and false imprisonment.

Hettenschuller allegedly assaulted a woman by covering her mouth and nose with his hands, restricting her ability to breathe. The victim struggled to break free, but Hettenschuller held her against her will, preventing her from escaping.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, driving a green 1996 Dodge pick-up truck with PA registration ZVX4689.

The Chambersburg Police Department is actively searching for Hettenschuller and is urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them or leave a tip on Crime Watch. The community is advised to exercise caution and report any sightings of the suspect immediately.
