Allentown, PA- The Allentown Police Department has been informed by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office of charges against former officer Jason Krasley. The charges include Rape, Sexual Assault, Criminal Solicitation, Official Oppression, and Patronizing Prostitutes in connection with an alleged incident between September 2012 and December 2013.

In a separate case from May 2018, Krasley is also facing charges of Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Official Oppression, and Patronizing Prostitutes. The Allentown Police Department emphasized that these charges do not reflect the department’s values or professionalism.

The department, under the leadership of the Chief of Police since June 2021, has been focused on enhancing policies and procedures to align with accreditation standards. This includes improved policies for the Vice Unit.
