Charges Filed in Fatal Leominster Stabbing

LEOMINSTER, MA – A Fitchburg man faces murder charges, while two others are charged with assault and battery in connection with the death of 20-year-old Robert Wright-Day earlier this week.

Juan Diaz Contreras, Edgar K. Perez-Tuero, and Christian Joel Santiago were arrested and are set to be arraigned in Fitchburg District Court on Friday.

The incident, which occurred early Tuesday, involved a stabbing outside the Riverside Village Apartment complex. Law enforcement responded to a report of the stabbing before 1 a.m. and found the victim, who later succumbed to his injuries at Leominster Hospital.

Multiple agencies are investigating the case, including local police departments and various State Police units.
