Charlotte Man Fatally Shot in Brooklyn

Charlotte, NC – A tragic incident unfolded late on Wednesday, January 24, as 28-year-old Shaquary Bryant from Charlotte, North Carolina, was fatally shot in Brooklyn, New York. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Avenue, within the 73rd Precinct’s jurisdiction.

Police were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call reporting a male shot, arriving at approximately 11:36 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers found Bryant with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

Emergency Medical Services transported him to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
