Cheektowaga Man Facing Prison Time for Shooting Flare Gun at Home

ERIE COUNTY, NY – Dino A. Bruscia, a 30-year-old man from Cheektowaga, was sentenced on Friday before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to 3 to 6 years in prison. On December 22, 2019, Bruscia fired a flare gun at a house on Arcadian Drive in the Town of Amherst, causing damage to the dining room.

He pleaded guilty to one count of Arson in the Third Degree on April 5, 2023.

Bruscia is also pending sentence for two separate misdemeanor crimes committed in the Town of Cheektowaga, including inciting to riot and criminal impersonation.

His sentencing for these charges is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2023.
