Cherry Hill Firefighters Stop Car Fire from Spreading

CHERRY HILL, NJ – Cherry Hill firefighters responded to a car fire close to a home on Edgemoor Road on Monday.

Cherry Hill Firefighters responded to the 1000 block of Edgemoor Road. Companies found a vehicle with an engine compartment well involved extended to the vehicle interior,” the Cherry Hill Fire Department said in a statement. “Companies acted quickly to extinguish the fire as the vehicle was close to the dwelling and directly underneath power lines. The fire also damaged the adjacent vinyl fence. Fortunately there were no injuries.”
