CHICAGO, IL – A 30-year-old male victim was standing outside when he heard several shots fired and felt pain. The victim was unable to communicate further details due to the severity of his injuries. The victim sustained multiple gsw to the body and was transported to Christ Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. There is no one in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
The incident occured at 6600 Block of S. Maplewood on January 22, 2022 at approx. 9:54 p.m.
