Child Injured in Baltimore Mall Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A tragic shooting incident occurred at the Moondawmin Mall in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue on Friday afternoon, where a 7-year-old girl was severely injured. Baltimore Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:39 PM following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found the young victim with gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was quickly transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in critical but stable condition. Initial findings suggest the shooting resulted from an altercation between two groups inside the mall. An unidentified male suspect reportedly fired a shot while fleeing, unintentionally hitting the child.
