Child Luring Incident in Rayne Township Under Investigation

RAYNE TOWNSHIP, PA – Troopers are investigating a child luring incident that occurred on Wednesday.

An 11-year-old boy reported being approached by an unknown male suspect driving a black Toyota sedan, possibly a Prius, near Washington Church Road.

The suspect, described as a black male in his 30s with short hair, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and a bandana, attempted to lure the child towards his vehicle.

No physical contact occurred, and the child safely reached his home to notify his parents. The vehicle was reported to have possible damage on its passenger side.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop A, Indiana at 724-357-1960. This case remains actively under investigation.
