LAKEWOOD, NJ – A young child was nearly choked when he tied a large zip tie to be used in the constitution of the family’s outdoor Sukkah.

According to a report by the Lakewood Scoop, the boy tied the zip tie around his neck and panicked to get it off, making it even tighter.

The family called Hatzolah emergency services, who were able to cut the zip tie from the child’s neck.

A Sukkah is an enclosed outdoor space built each year during the holiday celebration of Sukkot in the Jewish religion.
