MORRISTOWN, NJ – Former New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie has called President Donald J. Trump’s lawsuits to contest the 2020 election a “national embarrassment”.

“If you have got the evidence of fraud, present it,” Christie, now a correspondent for ABC News said. “Quite frankly, the conduct of the President’s legal team has been a national embarrassment.”

Christie said he supported Trump and voted for the President, but elections have consequences and Trump cannot continue to act as if something happened that did not happen.

“If you are unwilling to come forward and present the evidence, it must mean the evidence doesn’t exist,” Christie said of Trump’s legal campaign. “The country is what has to matter the most. As much as I’m a strong Republican and I love my party, it’s the country that has to come first.”
