Citizen flags down officers after man shot on Potee Street

BALTIMORE, MD — A 35-year-old man was hospitalized early Monday after being shot in Baltimore’s Southern District, police said.

Southern District patrol officers were on routine patrol in the 3600 block of Potee Street at approximately 1:45 a.m. on October 28 when a citizen flagged them down to report a shooting victim nearby. Officers quickly located the wounded man and provided aid until medics arrived on the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.
