Clairton Shooting Leaves One Injured

CLAIRTON, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting incident that took place on May 6, 2023, in Clairton, Pennsylvania. At approximately 8:09 pm, the County 9-1-1 received a report of shots fired at the intersection of Thompson and Beaver Street.

Upon arrival, first responders found evidence of a shooting at the location. Shortly after, officers were alerted to an adult male victim who had collapsed in the 100 block of Constitution Circle, having suffered from a gunshot wound. The victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital and is now in critical but stable condition.

As police continue their investigation, they are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
