Northern Ocean County Animal Facility offering half-price adoptions during Clear The Shelters event

JACKSON, NJ — Families looking to adopt a furry friend will have a chance to do so at a reduced cost as the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility once again takes part in this year’s Clear The Shelters adoption event.

The two-day event will be held September 6 and 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the shelter, located at 615 Freemont Avenue in Jackson. During those hours, all adoptions will be half price.

In addition to the discount, every adopted pet will go home with a complimentary goody bag filled with treats and toys. The giveaway is available throughout the entire Clear The Shelters campaign, which runs from August 1 through September 7.

Shelter officials noted that all pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and receive a veterinary health exam prior to adoption — services that are included in the adoption fee.
