NEW YORK, NY — Early on Thursday, a group of individuals engaged in an act of vandalism at an apartment building located at the intersection of Orange and Henry Streets at the home of Columbia Chief Operating Officer Cas Holloway.
Responding to a 911 call at approximately 3:00 AM, police discovered damage including broken glass and paint thrown around the premises.
Two suspects initially entered the building’s vestibule, where they threw red paint and a mix of insects, including crickets and mealworms, onto the floor.
One of these individuals, described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 18 and 30, and about 5 feet 6 inches tall, also used a hammer to break the lobby door glass. This individual was seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt inside out, black pants, white sneakers, a gray baseball cap, and a black face mask.
A second suspect in the vestibule, possibly female, was observed dispersing the insects and was carrying a black garbage bag and a blue backpack. Additional suspects outside the building contributed to the vandalism by throwing paint on the building and sidewalk.
Descriptions include three possible females: one dressed in all black, another in dark clothing with a blue mask, and a third in black clothing with a black mask carrying a red and white bag.

All involved parties fled the scene in unknown directions. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Police are seeking any information related to the suspects and encourage witnesses to come forward as part of the ongoing investigation.
CAIR, a Muslim rights group has not condemned this attack. When reached for comment on this and other attacks carried out by pro-Hamas protesters in the New Jersey tri-state region, the organization has refused comment.
