Columbus authorities seek fugitive wanted for string of arsons

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Arson investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to multiple fires in Columbus, including one that destroyed a vacant apartment building undergoing renovations.

On March 14 at approximately 11:54 a.m., Columbus Fire requested police assistance for a fire in the 4300 block of Malin Street. Investigators determined it was the second building in the complex to catch fire. Several other fires were reported in the area the same day.
