Columbus Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 22-Year-Old on Harshman Drive

Columbus, OH – A 20-year-old Columbus man, Talen Trago, has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Trayven Thompson, the Columbus Division of Police announced.

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 2:29 p.m., officers responded to a shooting report in the 3100 block of Harshman Drive. Upon arrival, they found Thompson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at 2:37 p.m.

Following an investigation, police issued a warrant for Trago’s arrest in connection with the homicide. On May 29, Trago turned himself in to authorities.
