Columbus Player Wins $10K on Scratch-Off

COLUMBUS, OH — A local lottery player has won $10,000 after purchasing a Money Maker scratch-off ticket from a Giant Eagle store in Columbus.

The winning ticket was bought at Giant Eagle #6504, located at 4747 Sawmill Road, according to the Ohio Lottery Commission.

After deducting the mandatory state and federal taxes, which total 28 percent, the winner will receive approximately $7,200.

Money Maker is a $30 scratch-off game that offers a top prize of $80,000 annually for 25 years. As of August 22, five of these top prizes remain unclaimed.
