Columbus Police Make Arrest in March Homicide Investigation

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Division of Police has announced a significant development in a recent homicide investigation. On March 25, officers were dispatched to an alley at Meek & Jones, where they discovered John R. Lang unresponsive, with injuries indicative of a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced Lang dead at the scene at 12:10 p.m.

Following a thorough investigation, authorities apprehended Derrick L. Brown on April 8. Brown has been charged with the murder of John R. Lang, marking a pivotal turn in the case as law enforcement continues to pursue justice.
