Columbus SWAT Arrests Fugitive Wanted for Murder

COLUMBUS, OH – Tayvion Taylor, a suspect implicated in a March homicide, was arrested without incident by the Columbus Police SWAT team on Tuesday.

The Columbus Police Department had been investigating the murder of Richard Carr, a 62-year-old man, who was found in a residence on the 1800 block of Lockbourne Rd on March 11, 2023. Carr had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Columbus Police Department.
