Columbus use ShotSpotter tech to locate gunshot victim

COLUMBUS, OH – On August 31, 2021 at 2:49pm, Columbus Police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of E. 20th Ave. on a report of a shooting, that was also picked up by ShotSpotter technology. Upon arrival, officers located 62-year-old William Norah suffering from a bullet graze to his upper body. Norah explained that he was walking EB on E. 20th St. when he heard gunshots and felt the bullet strike. He was treated at scene & released.
