Columbus Woman Shot Multiple Times Through Her Car

Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in the Hilltop on Wednesday. Krieg Butler Sr. was taken into custody on Thursday without incident.

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place early Friday morning.

Officers responded to the area of Refugee Road and Gender Road on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, whose vehicle had been shot at several times.

“The victim was struck in the back and transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital in stable condition,” according to police. “At this time, the victim is expected to recover from her injuries. There is no suspect information to report at this time.”
