Construction Worker Killed by Dump Truck on I-95 in Harford County

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – A tragic accident on Tuesday morning resulted in the death of a construction worker on Interstate 95 in Harford County.

The incident occurred when the worker was struck by a dump truck reversing in a work zone near Mountain Road in the Joppatowne area, according to Maryland State Police. The identity of the deceased has not however been released.

Following the accident, one lane of southbound I-95 was closed, causing traffic delays as authorities conducted their investigation. No other injuries were reported. Maryland State Police responded to the scene and are investigating the incident’s circumstances.
