SPRINGDALE, PA – A couple was found shot and killed in an apartment in Springdale late Monday afternoon, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit reported today.
Officers responded to a request for assistance in Springdale Borough on the report of a double murder inside at approximately 3:39 pm. Police said Allegheny County 9-1-1 was notified of two deceased individuals in an apartment in the 1000 block of Pittsburgh Street.
“First responders found an adult female victim and an adult male victim deceased, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation,” the department said.
