Couple Sought for Theft and Fraud at Bensalem Cracker Barrel

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police are investigating a theft that occurred at the Cracker Barrel on 3611 Horizon Blvd, reported on Friday. Around 6:00 PM, two suspects, a black male and a black female, allegedly targeted a diner’s purse during their brief visit to the restaurant.

According to reports, the male suspect placed his jacket over a chair behind the victim while the female appeared to be handling an emergency phone call.

They left the restaurant abruptly within half an hour, which coincided with the victim receiving fraud alerts. The victim soon discovered her purse open and credit cards missing.

Shortly after the incident, a purchase amounting to $1,500 in Visa Gift Cards was made at a CVS Health store using the stolen credit cards.

The suspects were last seen driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu with New Jersey paper registration number 877785T. Police are urging the public to view surveillance photos to help identify the suspects.
