HAMILTON, NJ – Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is bringing comfort back to the table this winter, announcing the return of two beloved classics — Hamburger Steak and Eggs in The Basket — along with a new Spicy Maple flavor that adds a touch of bold sweetness to the season. The Hamilton location is featuring these dishes as part of the restaurant’s new Meals for Two lineup, designed to deliver hearty portions and value for guests looking to share a homestyle experience.

These dishes are rooted in our history and have been among the most requested by our guests. They represent the timeless Cracker Barrel experience — warm, familiar, and made the way people remember.”
The Hamburger Steak, one of the original items from Cracker Barrel’s first menu in 1969, returns with juicy, seasoned beef topped with buttery garlic sauce and served with a choice of two or three sides such as creamy macaroni and cheese, hashbrown casserole, or chicken and dumplins. Guests can complete the meal with fresh, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins — and for extra indulgence, smother their steak with sautéed onions and brown gravy for the southern-style classic.
The Eggs in The Basket also returns as a breakfast favorite, featuring two slices of golden-grilled sourdough bread with an egg nestled in the center, served alongside bacon or sausage and one classic side.
Rounding out the winter menu is the debut of Spicy Maple sauce, a sweet-heat addition crafted to complement the comfort classics and add variety to the seasonal offerings.
