Cranford PD Features Puppy Aspen in ‘Woof Wednesday’ Adoption Initiative

CRANFORD, NJ — In today’s “Woof Wednesday” feature, the Cranford Police Department introduced the community to a delightful puppy named Aspen. The 4-5 month old Great Pyrenees & Labrador Retriever mix was showcased by Officer Courtney Meyer and Cranford resident Hadley.

Aspen is described as a gentle puppy who weighs between 10-15 lbs. She gets along well with kids and other dogs. Further adding to her adoption appeal, Aspen is already spayed, microchipped, up-to-date with her vaccinations, and has been making excellent progress with crate training and housebreaking.

Those interested in giving Aspen a forever home can apply through the American Lab Rescue at americanlabrescue.com.

Moreover, the Cranford Police Department also made a call for residents to become dog fosters. Individuals keen on opening their homes temporarily to foster dogs can contact Community Outreach Officer Ali Muhammad at A-Muhammad@CranfordNJ.org for more information.

The department shared photographs of Aspen on their official Facebook page to aid in her adoption endeavor.
