LAKEWOOD, N.J. — A crash on the northbound Garden State Parkway south of Exit 89A for NJ 70 East in Lakewood Township is causing traffic disruptions Monday morning.
As of 8:31 a.m., the right shoulder is blocked at the crash site. Traffic backups have been reported in the area as emergency responders address the scene.
In addition, delays are being reported on the Garden State Parkway northbound from the Toms River Toll Plaza in Dover Township to Exit 89C in Lakewood, spanning approximately five miles due to heavy traffic volume.
Motorists traveling through the area are advised to proceed with caution and anticipate slowdowns.
