Crash on New Jersey Turnpike Slows Evening Commute Through Bayonne

BAYONNE, NJ – A traffic incident occurred this afternoon on the New Jersey Turnpike – Hudson County Extension westbound, just west of Interchange 14A near the NJ 440/Bayonne Bridge. The crash involved multiple vehicles, which have since been moved to the right shoulder of the roadway.

The accident was initially reported shortly after 4:26 PM and was fully resolved by 4:57 PM. All lanes that were affected are now open, ensuring the flow of traffic has returned to normal in the area. No further disruptions are expected.
