Cumberland Man Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

CUMBERLAND, MD — A local man, Alexander Ray Silvious, 24, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after causing disturbances in Cumberland. The Cumberland City Police responded to reports of a disturbance on the 200 block of Springdale St on Friday, April 19. Witnesses at the scene reported that Silvious had been yelling and throwing items at a car before fleeing.

Police later located Silvious at a business on Virginia Ave, where he was reportedly causing another disturbance. He was arrested and issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct. Silvious has been released and is pending trial in District Court.
