CLEVELAND, OH – A Cuyahoga County grand jury has returned an indictment against 25-year-old Jaylon Jennings and 24-year-old Kevin Del Valle-Salaman for the mass shooting that took place on West 6th Street in Cleveland’s Warehouse District on Monday, July 9.

On the night of the incident, Jennings and Del Valle-Salaman exited the Rumor Bar and Lounge. The men moved towards Del Valle-Salaman’s parked car, where Jennings retrieved a firearm. As victims exited the bar, Jennings fired several shots at them. The incident resulted in nine victims, seven males and two females, being shot.

Following the shooting, both men fled in Del Valle-Salaman’s vehicle. The Cleveland Division of Police and the Cleveland Division of Emergency Medical Service promptly arrived at the scene, where the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The investigation, led by the Cleveland Division of Police, revealed that the shooting seemed to be targeted and not random. Both suspects were arrested shortly after the incident, with Jennings on July 1 and Del Valle-Salaman on July 15.

Jennings is now facing multiple charges, including nine counts of Attempted Murder, 18 counts of Felonious Assault, two counts of Having a Weapon Under Disability, and charges related to Grand Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. Del Valle-Salaman has been indicted on nine counts of Attempted Murder, 18 counts of Felonious Assault, and one count of Obstructing Justice.
