D.C. Gunman Caught On Camera And Police Need Your Help

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on Friday afternoon. This incident took place on the 4900 block of Benning Road in Southeast, D.C.. The police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

Detectives say, “At approximately 1:50 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

 Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
